#1 Get More Amazon Reviews
93% of people check reviews before buying products on Amazon. We all do! Most likely you do too. A book with no or few Amazon reviews is not a good representation of your book. The average person knows 125 people. It costs you nothing but a little time to copy this link to your listing on Amazon and either text or email it out to your contacts with a message like:
“Hey friend, I recently published a new book (link). It would help me a lot if you would please leave a 5-star review in the next 24 hours (no purchase required). This will help get it into the hands of complete strangers.”
Your message could be that short!
It would be even more effective if you shared a link to a free PDF of your book or samples of reviews they could use. If they read the book then they can talk about the book. If they haven’t read the book, they can talk about knowing you. If possible, follow up with them. Check to see how they are doing. Catch up with them. Thank them for leaving you a review. This will help you build a community of Christians who support your work.
The average book sells less than 250 copies and has less than 5 reviews. It has been scientifically proven the more reviews the more sales. Set a goal of 50 reviews. Work your contacts until you meet your goal. Ask everyone you know to add a review. Help make it as easy as possible and people WILL help you! This WILL influence complete strangers to buy and read your book.

#3 Use Amazon Ads
We can help you launch and manage Amazon ads. You need to make sure your book listing shows a healthy number of reviews otherwise ad spend will be a waste.
Our digital marketing package starts at $250/month and goes up depending on the number of ads and books you need. Once we know your goals we can give you a firm quote. This month’s management fee covers our cost of designing your ads and managing your ad account. We work to achieve the most effective ads possible. The monthly ad spend budget is separate and additional. We start very conservative until we prove the ads are effective.
We’ve seen successful ads sell 10 times more books than books without ads. We’ve seen 50 books a month go to 500 books a month in sales. This is significant in that the average book sells less than 250 copies. Ads do need to be a long-term commitment as it takes 90 days to achieve success, after which it is a matter of setting a monthly budget in order to begin seeing a positive return on investment.
